FWE – Aftermath

Thank you to everybody who came along on our awesome Freshers weekend. I enjoyed the time “wasted” in Crianlarich very much and I am happy everything went so well (at least as far as I can see it). If you have missed it: There will be similar weekends in the future.

Since I was asked for the non-winning Limericks, here you go. Can you find all of the hidden messages? (We did not without help)

There was a society that liked to dance
Off to Crianlarich they took a chance
It started to rain
And that was a great pain
They came back and took off their pants

THERE ONCE WAS A NEW SCOTLAND danCER
WHO WAS QUiTE A BIT OF A PRANCeR
HE CROSSED AND HE TURNED
WENT INTO A DIP
AND DISlOCATED HIS POOR PARTNERS HIP

Departure by bus a bit lay
Awakened by a morning sax
no rest for you all
come here, Balls, Balls, Ball
Exciting Freshers’ Weekend snacks!

The New Scotland Dance Society
Is surely the best in entirety
Though you should know,
That before you go –
Be prepared; they lack all propriety

There was a young lady from Keele
Who got all muddled up in a reel
She tried to go right
But they got in a fight
Which was very upsetting for Neil

There once was a team number seven
who liked to eat cake at eleven
To Crianlarich they were heading
To dance Mairi’s wedding
But New Scotland took them to Heaven
